Communicate a sound, a rhythm through an image, is it possible? In photography, music greatly influences my approach. I want to find in my pictures the same emotions and vibe you would get from your favorite song. For me, it’s the raw blues of Muddy Watter or Howlin Wolf, the electric sound of Led Zepplin or Jimi Hendrix, a trip-hop or folk rhythm. That being said, making the picture a small part of a longer, more complex process. My vision is to bring the image to life. In order to do so, the possibilities are limitless and I challenge myself every day to find unique and remarkable ways to make my picture stand out. The print technology, the media, the finishing technics are all factors that I choose carefully to give the desired character to the image. In a way, the image is the soul and the finishing process what defines it. My work experiences in the print and woodworking industries provide me with the knowledge and access to the types of equipment to create my work. Making quality images, conceive unique finishing process and offering a work of art that makes a statement, this is what my passion is all about.
