SPOKEPERSON FOR MTL EN ARTS
« I’ve been following this festival for a few years now, and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I see this as an opportunity to help restore the Village’s reputation, which has suffered greatly in recent years. What’s more, I’ll have the opportunity to once again give visibility to an organization like Interligne, which is still close to my heart. I’m already looking forward to June 27!

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Mtl en Arts was created as a community event to support and promote the visual arts and celebrate local creativity. The festival brings together the artists of today and tomorrow to connect with the general public. Accessible, free, inclusive and festive, Mtl in the Arts will present from June 27 to July 1st, 2024 more than 100 local artists, from various disciplines, expressing themselves through different mediums, coming from different backgrounds, but all committed to sharing their achievements.
Based on the principle of interactivity and mediation, the event is meant to be transversal and playful, inviting each individual to take part in the creation and to understand its workings. An exhibition, 15 interactive activities, a youth space and a musical stage are all located in the Village, transforming the rue Sainte Catherine into an open-air gallery and attracting no less than 100,000 visitors in 5 days.
