EXPO-SALE

SAINTE-CATHERINE STREET, between Alexandre-DeSève and Papineau
40 artists in visual arts and crafts will exhibit under tents. This exhibition and sale will create a dialogue between passers-by on Sainte-Catherine Street and celebrate local creativity, the richness of diversity and the dynamism of our new generation. Come and meet the artists, exchange ideas and buy a work of art.

AMBULATORY ACTIVITIES
ARTS CARNAVAL

SAINTE-CATHERINE, between Atateken and Papineau
Organized by Studio ZX, Arts Carnaval combines esthetic and experiential elements by bringing together dancers, urban bands, drag and club kid culture.
This is definitely a unique experience not to be missed.


ART MOBILE

SAINTE-CATHERINE, between Atateken and Papineau
After a smashing success last year, the Art mobile project is back with an improved version. The artists will create 12 large format works on site, while strolling along Sainte-Catherine Street.
You will be able to find them on site and follow their progress (in both directions).

The 2 artists will create 2 murals in line with the mission of the ATQ (Aide au Trans du Québec): to break the isolation of trans, non-binary and questioning people.

To introduce children to art collecting, this gallery will only be accessible to children under 13. At a cost of $20, they will be able to purchase their first work of art and sharpen their artistic tastes.

The Urban Sketchers Montreal (USK Mtl) will be sketching scenes from everyday life in the Village.
The public will be invited to participate and will be guided in the creation of sketches on Friday, July 1 starting at 11 a.m.
To register and receive materials, report to the USK Mtl information booth, at the corner of Panet and Sainte-Catherine or register online.
AFROMUSÉE
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29 to SUNDAY, JULY 3

AFROMUSÉE will be in the Village during the festival to make people more aware of AFRO culture through various activities:
- Music workshops: every day, from 5 to 7 p.m:
- Workshops of percussion with balafon (xylophone) and djembe as well as dance animated by Luc Bambara and Adama Daou
Every day, from 1 to 8 p.m:
- Exhibition entitled « Afrique Montréalaise », which focuses on the impact of Afro-descendant personalities from Montreal.
- Fun games to learn more about Africa.

La petite porte, 1122 De Maisonneuve Est
Eleven local artists exhibit and explain in chorus what intersectional feminism means to them.
Coming from different backgrounds, they put their creativity to the benefit of struggles that feed each other. The exhibition aims to be inclusive, opens a reflection on systemic oppression and the possibilities offered by art to lead a united struggle.
