PARTICIPATION IN RECURRENT ARTISTIC PROJECTS
We’re looking for professional and emerging artists in VISUAL ARTS to participate in the future artistic programming of the Mtl en Arts festival, which runs from June 27 to July 1, 2024. To submit your application, simply fill out the form below.
Artists’ fees will be aligned with the minimum rates of RAAV, CARFAC and other arts associations.

Description of recurring projects
ÇA DÉMÉNAGE
This project aims to mobilize the public to give new life to their used furniture by transforming items into a unique work of art. Two artists will be commissioned to paint 18 pieces of furniture each during the festival.
PROJECT ATTENDANCE: 5 days of the festival and one piece of furniture to be produced before the festival.
L'ART QUI REDONNE
L’art qui redonne is a project imagined by the Mtl en Arts team to create a bridge between artistic creation and a charitable cause. The project consists in the creation of two 16′ long by 8′ high ephemeral murals, live during the 4 days of the festival, inspired by the mission of the chosen organization.
PROJECT PRESENCE: 4 days of the festival and model to be produced
MURALE COLLECTIVE
NOTICE TO ILLUSTRATORS: This project focuses on the creation of 2 thematic illustrations, based on the concept of painting by numbers. These works will be reproduced on huge panels, inviting the public to bring color to the murals.
PROJECT ATTENDANCE: Creation of the 2 illustrations in advance of the festival (3h attendance required for the inauguration of the first mural).
MA PREMIÈRE GALERIE
This project is designed to introduce children to the world of visual arts. An ephemeral gallery, reserved exclusively for children aged 13 and under during the festival, will feature over 30 small works designed by professional and emerging artists. Kids can start collecting art.
PROJECT ATTENDANCE: Half-day to create 2 to 4 works measuring 3 »X 5 » to 8.5 » X 11 » at a workshop organized by the festival one month before the event. Exhibition of your work during the 5-day festival (no attendance required).
MA PREMIÈRE EXPOSITION
The aim of the project is to organize creative art workshops for young people, supervised by professional artists who will take inspiration from the guest artist’s work. The artist in question will lead two artistic and creative workshops, each lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, dedicated to children aged 8 to 13.
PROJECT ATTENDANCE: 1 day at the festival. Preparation of the workshop prior to the festival.
